Do teenagers see things more clearly than adults or simply in black and white terms?

probably both, depending on the subject.

Obviously, teenagers are more in touch with whats going on around them as in: trends, slang, music, stereotypes etc. But adults tend to see the overall picture, and have a broader knowledge of the world.

It has to be said (generally speaking) that teenagers themselves will announce that they know everything they need to know and most are unwilling to accept outside help. They may THINK they know everything and have a open-mind to all the possibilities but at the end of the day, age brings alot more experience.

I think...both.Do teenagers see things more clearly than adults or simply in black and white terms?
Children see things in a much more 'binary' light, they have not learned the prejudices of teenage or adult hood, in many ways it;s a nice thing, but it also makes them very vulnerable. Teenagers have a habit of flitting from idea to idea as they find thier feet, and learn from the (sometimes bitter) experiences of life. They are not greatly recognised for thier decision making skills. Thye are easily lead by thier peers, thier emotionsnand thier hormones.

I have found that old people (70 and up) are the best decision makers, they have 70 plus years of experience to call upon.Do teenagers see things more clearly than adults or simply in black and white terms?
This happens sometimes, you know, like me for example. I feel like I can show my mom so much more about the world (i.e. of homosexuality) than what she thinks or what she's taught me...

Sometimes there are things that adults can see but just won't accept them.
Teenagers are more idealistic, adults are more set in their ways with pre-judged opinions which they feel are based on experience. The scary thing is... I feel myself turning into an adult! I'm only 19....
As a teenage you will see things more black and white as there is more to learn in life which adults will know more about depending on the subject
To explore and adventure
we see it with more curiosity
