Are the majority of 'Answers' posed and answered by pre-pubescent teenagers, or is there an adult version.?

Is 'Answers' purely an online agony aunt for school age self imposed social outcasts?Or can you ask valid questions which web based searches can not answer due to the personal and specific dynamics of such queries? Are the majority of 'Answers' posed and answered by pre-pubescent teenagers, or is there an adult version.?
Ok, your question just eliminated all pre-pubescent teens from even understanding what you are asking.

Yes, there are adults on here, we are the ones who know how to spell usually. Are the majority of 'Answers' posed and answered by pre-pubescent teenagers, or is there an adult version.?
Depends on the category.

But it shouldn't be surprising that any website is mainly populated by pre-teens who are experience true anonymity for the first time and therefore answer questions using poor grammar and profanity.
This is it, so you have to wade through a lot of stuff to find what you seek.

ask you adult questions, but the answers cannot be guaranteed
there are a lot of teenagers answering but also some adults. So if you need to ask a question, feel free and hopefully you will get an adult answer.
There are many adults on here - unfortunately, a lot of them act worse than the tweens and teens!

I have actually found some of the adults who are even parents to be some of the worst

YA is designed mainly for interactive help between people and to share information with each other

It is not a site like Facebook or Myspace, where the goal is 'social-interaction';. YA is information or opinion interaction

All you can do is post a question on whatever topic it is, choose the category in which you feel you will get the best answer or the most replies and ignore the bad answers.

My heart goes out to you

Good luck and I hope that you have more positive experiences

There are a lot of people who are nice and considerate and have thoughtful answers. Just remember for every annoyance, there is a joy. Same here
