What books would you recommend for teenagers?

The Daughters of the Moon series by Lynne Ewing.

Vanessa, Catty, Serena, and Jimena seem like ordinary girls living in Los Angeles. But they each have a secret. Vanessa can become invisible, Catty travels back in time, Serena reads minds, and Jimena has premonitions. What separates them from others bands them together as DAUGHTERS OF THE MOON.What books would you recommend for teenagers?
Any of Gail Carson Levine's books are great. (Ella Enchanted, Ever, Fairest) If you like Ella enchanted you'll like Just Ella by margaret peterson haddix)

The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones is good

The Midnighters Series by Scott Westerfeld

The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer

Starcatchers Series by Dave Barry (if you like the Adventures of Peter Pan)

when your ready and liked Twilight you'll like the bluebloods series by de la cruz and the House of night series by P.C Cast and Kristen Cast.

If you loved harry potter you love the Inheritence Cycle (ie Eragon, Eldest, and Brinigr) by Christopher Paolini.

If you like the Faerie Path (jones) you'll like wicked lovely, Ink Exchange and Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr

or The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare or

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott

or

lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket

The classics are always good to read tooWhat books would you recommend for teenagers?
Depends on what your into.

If your into the more realistic book types, I'd go for books by Ann M. Martin (One of my favourite books by her is called 'Here Today') or Rune Michaels is a good author as well (check out a book written by him called 'Genesis Alpha', It's amazing)

If your into the more Sci-Fi type series, I'd go for:

-any book by Eoin Colfer. He's a great author. His books include the ';Artemis Fowl'; series, The Supernaturalist, Half-Moon Investigations, and many more!

If your into romance:

-The ';Twilight'; series by Stephenie Meyer (they also include a bit of -would you call it fantasy?- with the feature of vampires =P (I myself am a fan of these books, but not everyone enjoys them)

-the ';Love Comes Softly'; series by Janette Oke are, in my opinion, amazing. They're are definetley romance books, but very much realistic as well. If all your into is the romance, the first book might be a bit slow for you. (The romance concludes at the end, then continues on in the other books in that series)

I love to read, and know a great deal about tons of books. If you're looking for a type of book other than listed here, feel free to email me =). (By the way I am a teenager, so none of these books are gonna be oldish, or something =P)

Good Luck!
I have a couple books you might want to check out, there is a series called The house of night series, there is violence and some graphic material, its about vampires another trilogy is The Mortal Instruments, its about magic and that sort of stuff
I LOVE ';The time travelers'; novels by Caroline B Cooney!

They are so romantic,yet adventurous!
The Twilight series is good. I really like the Bloody Jack Adventure series by L.A. Meyer. I'd suggest surfing around Amazon.com for ideas.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan! You HAVE to read them! they rock.
';Transformers: The Veiled Threat';
Screw the vampires. Go read classics.

  1. Just be aware that the "Starcatchers" series by Barry/Pearson has a LOT of mistakes in it as compared to the original stories by J.M. Barrie. If these are supposed to be a prequel, in the same timeline, they shouldn't have fact-checking mistakes, should they? And if they're just a prequel to Disney's version, they contradict that, too.

Here's another book... it's based on Barrie's own idea for more Pan adventure and is faithful to his stories: www.peterpansneverworld.com
    BELIEVE!
