i have insurance but my mother is the main suscriber if i go to the gynecologist and have a birth control method prescribed and an exam done will she be able to find out through the insurance later on if she calls? Is there an annonymus gynecologist for teenagers?
Planned Parenthood Clinics will provide exams and birth control free or at very low cost. Their program should be able to help. Here's the website-- http://www.plannedparenthood.org/Is there an annonymus gynecologist for teenagers?
Your best bet may be to go to a county clinic. They will offer pelvic exams, birth control...ect. At these places you do not use your insurance.
I believe you can go to a ';family planning'; type of place. I can imagine that every state has these. I know that you can go in a get a free pregnancy test and that you can pay cash for birth control pills. Also there is the condom option, you pay for those, you can always keep one in your purse/bag, etc. and just replace when you think you'll need it.

Your Mom should be proud that you are taking these steps to protect yourself, I know that I am.
Good for you for taking responsibility for your own body. You can go to planned parenthood, it is usually free for minors and they will not tell your mother.

You can also use your mothers insurance, it is against teh law to release information like that even to a parent.
You can go through planned parenthood and your mother would never find out..... but I strongly encourage you to TALK to your mother about this. You never know how she will react.
Planned Parenthood is completely confidentail but you need cash or it will go through on insurance or ask them there if it can be hidden somehow. They work with you if you cant have your parents finding out. Just let them know. They called my house and said to my mom they were a friend of mine named Mary when they asked whos calling. So they are confidentail.
Planed parenthood for starters or you can check and see if the county health department offers women's health services.
Doctor-patient confidentiality is a right you have. When you go to a doctor you need to be sure they do not release your information to ANYONE.

Now if mom is paying the bills on insurance, she will probably want to know why you are going to the doctor, so be a grown-up and tell her up front. It's tough building up the courage for these things, but it's easier in the end to just come out and say it. Honesty builds trust. I can almost guarantee your mom would want you on birth control if you are sexually active. Birth control is much cheaper than a baby, and much less emotionally painful than an abortion.
Find your local Planned Parenthood clinic. They will not tell your parents.

However, you sound like you are too young to have sex. Please be careful with the choices you are making right now. Good luck.
