Causes and effects of making immature decisions among teenagers?

As a father of three (12, 16, and 20), I am almost qualified to write a book on this subject :-)

In the best circumstances, maturity. As Mark Twain said, ';A man who carries a cat by the tail will learn a lesson he can learn no other way.';





Regrettably there are all too many lessons that don't heal as easily as cat scratches. Teen pregnancy, drug addiction, felony records, physical disfigurement, to name just a few. These are lessons that can ruin an entire life and are all too easy to fall in to.Causes and effects of making immature decisions among teenagers?
