At what age do you think teenagers should work?

because i want to work and im 16 but i dont know if people will hire meAt what age do you think teenagers should work?
some places hire young teens, some places wont but with the recession not alot of places are lookingAt what age do you think teenagers should work?
I think 16 is a perfect age to get a job. I know kids who at 14 got summer jobs and made good money! But it depends on the state you live in and what type of job it would be. I know that some grocery stores will hire at 16 for carry-outs/shelf stockers. Restaurants and/or any type of food service you usually need to be at least 18. What about babysitting on a regular basis for someone or offering to be a dog walker? I think there are lots of different options out there for you, you just need to investigate a little!

I worked at Forever 21 when I was 16, it was very fun!!! Try filling out a bunch of applications for retail stores at your local mall.... Plus you get an employee discount!

I think no one should have to work until they are at least 40, then you'll have had a chance to have a decent time in life and not spent your whole life miserable and hating everything.
I got my first job when I was 14. Grocery Stores usually hire at 14. You have to search but having a job that young makes you incredibly responsible.
you can start working at age 16.
im 14 and ive been working for my step uncle since i was 11... my sister is trying to get a job, but most people you at 16... call around and find someone who will hire you
Resturants are usually always hiring*~ car washes*~ Hotels sometimes in the banquet departments or party centers*~ bowling alleys*~ try some of those places*~ good luck*~!!
I was hired at the age of 14, but that was in the 80's. I think you have to be 16 now.
Most places will hire you, but don't be put off if you don't.

Yes they wil hire you but only certain company.
I started working at 16 but it was hard for me to find someone to hire me, just look around
16 is the legal age in most states to start work
16 or 17
the legal age is 16. thats when i got my first job
i got hired at 14, just have to look in the right places!
