How many hours of sleep should teenagers be getting? (the ideal amount)?

I varies from person to person. The ideal amount of sleep that a teenager would need would be the number of hours their sleep would regulate to if they went to bed on time and could wake up whenever they wanted. I know that this sounds very vague. But my 15 year old needs 9 1/2 to 10 hours of sleep and my 12 year old is fine with an hour less than that. How many hours of sleep should teenagers be getting? (the ideal amount)?
at least 8 but 7 is absolute minum unlees you want like circles t he next day uner your eyes. Idealy you want 12 but thats hard. So i would say 9-10 hours should be good.How many hours of sleep should teenagers be getting? (the ideal amount)?
I'm 19 and i need at least 10-11 or im tired as hell. i figure a normal person is a 2 hours less than that or so though. It does vary from person to person

every person needs at least 8 hours of sleep.
