In your own opinion... How are teenagers perceived? How do you think they define and express their identity?

completely fake, they think popularity is most important then. outside of high school your realize how stupid it was at the time.In your own opinion... How are teenagers perceived? How do you think they define and express their identity?
Teenagers, generally, are perceived as kids turning to adults, and this is, as they say, the point where they develop their primary goals, their concrete likes and dislikes, and the time that they start to be conscious about being recognized. Adolescence, in my opinion is the chrysalis of maturity, where the caterpillar, or the teenagers are subjected to pressure as they proceed slowly towards adulthood.

While most people regard teenagers are usually stubborn and are better off as kids again, this is where they find who they really are, so they can't be blamed if sometimes they have mood swings, for they are still confused on what they really want.

Usually they define their identity or personality by subconscious observation. From simple online tests, to parents and friends' conversations and even in school, one develops his likes and dislikes, thanks to his environment. Man wants and would want to know who he really is, and without noticing, he takes action to determine his personality.

As they define themselves, teenagers tend to do things that they think is worthy of recognition. Teenagers generally want to be unique, and most of the tme, they do this by pushing their abilities to the limits. Like, if one is good at Math, he usually exerts effort in his studying so he can be recognized and praised. Some let themselves get influenced, and try to apply this factor to improve themselves and make themselves better in that field.

Another thing is that they even express their identity verbally. He or she mouths his or her likes and dislikes, how he or she is good at this, and this is because they want to be known at something. Subconsciously, or consciously, they want to impress. They want to be known as who they really are, not just some carbon copies of something. In your own opinion... How are teenagers perceived? Teenagers are often perceived as young adults who are getting ready to enter the adult world. They are constantly asked to do adult things, but laws and rules in the home are constantly reminding them that they are still children. They are often perceived as an emotional roller coaster, when you have only lived so many years and experienced so little the slightest thing can make you happy or depressed because you have yet to find the highest and lowest joy or pain that life can offer you. I don't know how they would define themselves, because I'm sure they would all be different. Probably express themselves through clothes, sports, clubs, activities, cliques, and...the things they say?
There is a unspoken pain that most teenagers have,if we tuck in our shirt and comb our hair were still treated like scum and its tuff to define what we really are because we over analyze our self and in attempt to escape the scrutiny against us, we hold on to our friends tight and make our surreal life just to know that we in the same boat but there well be some gray haired bloke on there porch complaining about how were troublesome and you know what, poop them.
I'm think we're perceived as morons, but not by all. Which in my opinion is very insulting. We're young and learning about the world since we'll soon be shoved into it on our own. We define and express ourselves through music and clothes. Maybe even our profiles.
They are perceived as morons. They define their identity through pop culture and fashion, which is why they always listen to such crappy music and weird such ridiculous clothes.
i think they are perceived as immature human beings which isn't all true. I am a teenager and i express myself by beating the adults stereotypes
