sensory overload....there's so much coming at them these days.
Because high school is so boring! The teachers don't teach, students don't care, and there are so many distractions. People talking, notes, cell phones. School needs to be interesting and they don't make ti feel that it is. Why would a teenager want to learn about someone who died 2,000 years ago and have to write a paper on it? It just doesn't do it for us.
