Welcome to the USA! In America teens dress pretty casual. Old Navy rubber flip flops are big. Converse are also popular as well as UGGs in the winter. Jeans are widely accepted anywhere. Distressed jeans (jeans with holes and fading) are a popular trend. A new trend is sweat pants but usually for more casual things like hanging out with friends. Hooded pull-over sweatshirts are also quite popular from stores like I mention next, or from places you've visited or university names. Graphic Tees are very popular from popular stores such as Abercrombie, Hollister, Aeropostale, and American Eagle, but ones with cute slogans or pictures are popular too. Denim shorts are pretty popular, usually on the short side but check with your school's dress codes because they may have a restriction on how short they can be. People in big cities usually are more fashion forward than small towns. Try getting a teen magazine like Seventeen or Cosmo Girl. Other popular stores at my school are Forever 21, Pac Sun, and Bobs, but remember to keep your own style. Don't be afraid to use some popular trends from Vietnam, foreign is pretty popular amongst Americans. Have fun and enjoy our country. :)
Well If your into looking like everyone else then I would recommend Hollister and Abbercrombie. Don't get me wrong I like it there I just wouldn't get everything from there.
I have a more Classy and Fashionable look. I usually wear jeans. Flats. I really like tops from Forever 21. If you have the money you can get things from Bebe and Juicy Couture.
Eh, they all dress different. A lot of people are into the whole Abercrombie/Hollister look, but that's stupid. If you're a girl, I recommend Old Navy, Target, American Eagle, and Aeropostale, and Payless for shoes. If you're a boy, American Eagle and stores like Foot locker have basketball shorts/tee shirts/sneakers, stuff American kids wear. Don't worry, just be yourself.
If you stick to jeans, t-shirt %26amp; converse sneakers...it's pretty generic %26amp; simple. You'll fit in easily.
Look at a site that has outfits - %26amp; see how the models dress. You don't HAVE to buy their clothing just get an idea for tops, pants %26amp; jackets....then buy it wherever you can afford.
Aeropostale, Hollister, even Macys.....just look at the models %26amp; go from that. :)

I wear cotton dresses/tops and plain colored pants or blue jeans and sometimes skirts
but it's always cool to stand out :D
wear flats,flip flops, sandals, boots, high-tops, CONVERSE and alot of stuff
wear jeans(skinny jeans are best)
and any shirt you like that doesnt look weird
