Why do teenagers hate school?

I don't get why they do.Why do teenagers hate school?
because the education system focuses too much on repetition of simple trivial facts rather than inspiring people to learn about the world around them out of their own interests.Why do teenagers hate school?
There are several reasons...


The person who has no friends or gets bullied is going to hate school because that is where people make them feel bad.





People who are not good at academics or having a learning disability are going to hate school because people make them feel substandard because they are not smart enough.





With all the polical correctness, and parents suing teachers and schools for talking about things they disapprove, there really isnt much room for actual real life learning in public high schools. You can learn what a stem cell is, but you cant discuss why some people are against embryonic stem cell research because some parent doesnt want their child learning about religion. Or you can learn about civilizations in history and sociology that were predominatly protestant, but you cant learn about groups of people who were wiccan because some parents dont want their children to know about other religions. You can discuss everything about the human body in science except the reproductive system because some parents dont want their children to know what sex is. With all the limits people put on what the public school can or cannot talk about, it really limits the scope of learning, discussion and debate.





Some teachers are just boring and make the work miserably hard and unfair.
their are so many jerks there and they are allowed to act like this because they are still considered ';children';. no, they're a$$holes.





also, the teachers drown you in homework. as soon as you start having a social life, they want to take it away by giving an insane amount of work. which if you don't do will ruin the rest of your life, because you wont get into a good college. pressure...
when i was a teen, i hated school. it wasnt really because of the work, the work was fairly easy for me, its just that i hated getting up so early :) if school would have started around 11 or 12, that would have been perfect.
I don't...I love school. I get to learn and make friends and grow up finally. If you hate school then you fail at life.
its annoying to sit in the same place and learn things they think they dont need to know for such a long time.
Because thinking hurts
Since I'm not a teenager, I don't know.
Because it is a colossal waste of my time.





Why should I spend my time trying to learn how to make Russian Borshch?
